Vortex Mods Not Working
I'm trying to install mods by vortex and this is a nightmare, half of the mods I used do not work properly or install.I'm testing one by one. I tried again for the 3rd time with the Caliente's Beautiful Bodies Enhancer (CBBE), and nops, no changes. Just vanilla body.The old nexus was so good and easy to use, this one is confusing and full of bugs.I'd really like to know how I make the mods work, I download as indicated, install, enable, should not it work?And I'm trying to install 1 by 1 to avoid conflicts, and few worked ( The only one I remember is one that give more experience and scrap everything).Currently the only installed one I have is CBBE and it's totally not working. Do you have the game active?
It seems like every week we have a new post here on getting mods to work. And even though Vortex is really easy to install and use, I think some people will feel better if they can follow a guide. One thing if you want to just run off without the guide, be sure you have your mods and game on the same drive!
Do you have auto-deploy ON? What happened when you click on the install or enable function? Can you please elaborate.
What do you mean when you said: I am testing one by one? Are you installing / enabling and playing with that one to find out if it is working in-game? Installing one by one to avoid conflicts? It does not matter and by doing that is not going to avoid mod conflicts at all. If the conflict exist between mods, the only way to get rid of those conflicts is by setting up a rule between the mods that are conflicting with each other, did you know that? Have you watched a video about it? Then you are saying that CBBE is the only one currently installed.????
I do not understand your post. You are talking about several mods installed and finally you are saying that only CBBE is your current installed mod?CBBE is not going to work unless you install mods that depends on CBBE to properly work so in the meantime, you will only get vanilla till you download a mod that requires CBBE to work. Does that makes sense to you?.

Caliente's Beautiful Bodies Enhancer change the character's body, does that makes sense to you?I go draw:1) I install some mods that I used in nexus mod magers, not all, only a few, some worked, most not. So I thought, I installed a lot at the same time gave some conflict.2) I deleted all the mods and started to install by the basic, the first one I always install , and yes, for God's sake, I enabled it. Don't work.3) I decided to start from scratch and do a clean installation, reinstalled the vortex, etc. (basic procedures).
I installed, as I said one by one to test if they were working, as the tutorial in youtube said ( ). Some work, some not.4) Bodies Enhancer, looks menu (I have F4se), Commonwealth Cuts, some clothes mods, etc are not working.By the tutorial on youtube said: download the mod by votex on nexus page (or manual), install, enable, check load order. I know Vortex is your new go to but it is very 50/50 of when it wants to work and when it doesn't want to work. I've had issues where mods that have nothing to do with each other will break the other one after I install it. For instance. I installed Immersive weapons which has nothing to do with the body but gave me purple heads.I have around 50 or more mods installed right now and I've been trying to add more. All of a sudden the ones I've installed won't even load. I've even tried using LOOT to help me with load orders. Vortex also keeps prompting me to deploy addons even though I've already deployed them.

Vortex also keeps prompting me to deploy addons even though I've already deployed them.According to you, you fixed it.
So I recently got a new PC and as such had to re-download all of SAM's many little working parts. However, whereas on my last PC I used Nexus Mod Manager to organize everything, on this one I'm using Vortex. I have everything downloaded and activated and to the best of my knowledge they're in the right order, as mostly everything is working. There are a few issues that I suspect are interrelated however.Issue number one that I noticed was that the torch and casting animations weren't working correctly (torches would equip but my character's arm wouldn't assume the holding position, same problem while casting magic).
I fixed this by removing the.hkx files from the skeleton and skeletonfemale folders, but I'm not sure if that has anything to do with the other issues.Issue number two is that the weapon animations aren't working. No matter what weapon in whatever position added by XP32, the only animation that triggers is the default one.Issue number three is that the breast, belly, and butt sliders in the race menu aren't functioning. This is a problem I had before on my other PC but I can't recall how I went about fixing it.Now- I have TRIED to use NMM, but for some it doesn't work (any mods I install and try to enable run into an 'exception error'). So, I'm using the new and 'improved' Vortex manager, which keeps handing me cycle errors that I'm trying my best to fix, but they seem to pop up and change randomly, and I have no idea what they even mean, so I suspect that Vortex may be the culprit in this instance.If anyone else is having these issues, or uses Vortex and knows how to amend these issues, or has an alternative to Vortex and NMM that actually works, I would be very appreciative.
