Windows Media Player Media Changing
- Right after restarting, navigate back to the same spot and re-enable the Windows Media Player entry. Apply the changes and restart your computer again. Navigate back to the Windows Media Player folder in Program Files depending on your OS’ architecture and look for any files where the Security tab.
- If Windows Media Player is already set up as the default player, you can still change the file types that automatically activate it. In Windows Media Player, select Tools Options and then click the File Types tab. Uncheck the file and media types that you may want to use with other players.
In the case of transfer songs from a real player to the ipod, you will need to download iTunes which is a software that actually converts files to be able to fit into your iPod of course from your laptop or computer you can also transfer files from the cd into the pc sync with iTunes, you`ll also need to type in identify the files by typing in their names. From there you can then select the songs which you would like to copy to your iPod and then you carry them onto your iPod once you`ve plugged it into your computer. You can load many songs onto your iPod.

However, changing the name from Unknown Artist to the correct name accomplishes nothing.

+1 Noob the sound card didn't change, bit rate didn't change, speakers didn't change so it ought to sound the same Or the player could be using a different sound output, not sure what Media Player uses but I use Foobar2000 with this output, I can def hear a improvement over Media Player.
